Rockies' Mark Reynolds: Activated from DL

Reynolds (hand) was reinstated from the 15-day DL on Wednesday, the Denver Post's Nick Kosmider reports.

While he is active Wednesday, he is not in the lineup for Game 1 of the doubleheader, as Gerardo Parra will get the start at first base. The Rockies have been getting Parra's bat in the lineup there of late, with a full outfield, so Reynolds should occupy a part-time role over the rest of the season. Daniel Descalso was placed on the paternity list as a corresponding move.
