Adams was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right elbow strain Wednesday.
Adams sustained a right elbow injury in Tuesday's loss to the Marlins, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be forced to miss more than the minimum of 10 days. Connor Joe was recalled by the Rockies in a corresponding move.
