Chatwood struck out six and walked eight across five scoreless innings Sunday versus the Braves, earning his ninth win of the season.
It was an unconventional start for Chatwood, who only allowed one hit but was pulled after five frames due to his elevated pitch count. Chatwood had endured a couple of rough starts heading into Sunday, so it was a positive sign to see him bounce back at home, despite the slightly alarming lack of command. He has generally been a stable member of the Rockies' rotation this season and will take a 3.65 ERA into Friday's start at the Mets.
