Hardy will be recalled by the Tigers prior Friday's game against the White Sox.
The Tigers will add some depth to the bullpen Friday with the addition of Hardy to the active roster. He has appeared in six games at the big league level this season, notching a 2.45 ERA with five strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work. According to Matthew Mowery of the Oakland Press, Kyle Ryan will be sent down in a corresponding move.
