Farmer will be recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday to take the mound against the Angels.
The Tigers were in need of a Wednesday starter after Matt Boyd was optioned to Triple-A Toledo. Farmer enjoyed quite a bit of success in his only other start with the Tigers this season, tossing 6.1 scoreless frames while tallying 11 total strikeouts on May 27 against the White Sox. He'll be a sneaky fantasy option against an Angels' lineup sorely missing the services of Mike Trout.
