Norris (arm) will start the Tigers' third game of the season, April 6 against the White Sox, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The lefty battled through arm fatigue -- commonly referred to as "dead arm" in spring training -- in his March 27 start, but Norris and manager Brad Ausmus seemed pleased with how he rebounded. "Arm's back, life's back," Norris said after an abbreviated outing Saturday (41 pitches). His fastball was said to be back in the mid-90s range, and Ausmus confirmed after the game that Norris will be the No. 3 starter in the Opening Day rotation.
