Kinsler, who had been just 14-for-73 (.192) since his last home run on June 13, hit his 15th home run of the season in Saturday's win over Tampa. He finished 1-for-3 with a walk.

Kinsler, who just turned 34, is having a fine season, slashing .291/.348/.489 with 50 RBI, 65 runs and eight stolen bases. His 15 dingers are the most by a Tigers second bagger before the All-Star break since 1998, when Damion Easley had 19.
