Jimenez gave up three hits and two earned runs in an inning of work during Friday's loss to the White Sox.
Jimenez came on to work the ninth inning with the Tigers down 5-3 and promptly gave up a single and a two-run homer to start the frame. With a 12.46 ERA in 4.1 innings at the MLB level, Jimenez could be headed back to Triple-A soon, but his long-term outlook is still strong as a potential closer.
