Tigers' John Hicks: Set for recall Friday

Hicks will rejoin the Tigers on Friday after Victor Martinez is placed on the paternity list, John Wagner of the Toledo Blade reports.

Hicks should net some at-bats as a first baseman or designated hitter after being recalled from Triple-A Toledo. He went 11-for-27 with a home run and seven RBI in his first extended big-league action, but V-Mart should return after only a few days' absence.
