Telis started at DH and went 0-for-2 in his spring debut in Friday's loss to Atlanta.
Telis was a late arrival to spring training due to travel issues but still should get a decent look in exhibition games. He's a long shot to make the roster as a reserve catcher and utility player, however, as the non-roster invitee will likely add depth at Triple-A.
