Marshall (elbow) felt soreness after throwing back-to-back games on rehab earlier this month and hasn't pitched since.
In total, Marshall made five appearances for Triple-A Charlotte but was shut down following an outing Sept. 4. The reliever received a second opinion to ensure he should continue his comeback and received an injection in the elbow. "This has been a process," Marshall said. "But I think we're heading in the right direction after the little bump in the road." He's targeting the postseason for a potential return.
