White Sox's Evan Marshall: Throws sim game

Marshall (elbow) threw a simulated game Saturday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Marshall began a rehab assignment in late August but was shut down after he felt soreness following back-to-back appearances. However, he hopes to return in time for the postseason and could be available for the ALDS if he feels good after facing hitters Saturday.
