Warren was added to the Yankees active roster Tuesday.

The one-time former Yankee was dealt back to New York on Monday as part of the trade with the Cubs involving closer Aroldis Chapman. Warren, who held left-handed batters to a .200 average while with the Cubs this season, will take the roster spot of Chasen Shreve. He'll be a reliable option out of the bullpen in the sixth and seventh innings while Dellin Betances and Andrew Miller hold down the later innings.
