Yankees' Jay Bruce: Remains on bench Saturday

Bruce isn't starting Saturday's game against the Rays.

Bruce will be out of the lineup for a second straight game after he went 1-for-19 with nine strikeouts in his last five games. DJ LeMahieu will start at first base while Rougned Odor enters the starting nine as the second baseman. Manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that LeMahieu should continue to see increased playing time at first base going forward while Odor starts at the keystone, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
