Heat's Rodney McGruder: Expects to play Friday vs. Magic

McGruder (quad) expects to play Friday against the Magic, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

McGruder was removed from Wednesday's win over the 76ers after suffering a bruised quad, but the issue appears to be a matter of pain management, rather than any sort of structural damage. The Heat will update McGruder's status after shootaround Friday, but the expectation at this point is he'll be able to start on the wing as he usually does.
