Gordon tallied seven points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight boards, and one assist across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 96-87 loss to the 76ers.

Coach Scott Skiles hinted prior to Wednesday's game that a starting lineup change could be afoot for the Magic, leading some to believe that Gordon might get an opportunity with the top unit. Skiles ultimately ended up rolling out the same lineup as the previous game Monday against the Hawks, but Gordon still benefited from enhanced playing time. Though Channing Frye is the de facto starter at power forward, Skiles seems inclined to roll with Gordon in more vital game situations. The 20-year-old is averaging 8.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 23.7 minutes while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor over the team's last 10 games.
