Bogut will sit out Thursday's game against the Hornets for rest, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.
The Mavericks are playing the second night of a back-to-back set, so Bogut, who played 35 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs, will get the night off Thursday to recover. Salah Mejri is the favorite to enter the starting lineup at center, though both he and Dwight Powell could end up splitting the time evenly at the position. Look for Bogut to return to the starting lineup Saturday against the Bulls.
