Shumpert signed a 10-day contract with the Nets on Friday.
Shumpert was waived by the Nets on Tuesday, but he cleared waivers and will now return to the team on a 10-day deal. He didn't appear in any games with the team earlier in the season and is unlikely to be a major part of coach Steve Nash's rotation.
