Booker will sit out Thursday's game against the Knicks for rest purposes, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports.

The Nets will give Booker a breather for the front end of the back-to-back set, likely opening up more minutes for Quincy Acy and Justin Hamilton behind starting power forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. Despite his bench role, Booker has been productive on a per-minute role since the All-Star break, averaging 10.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24.1 minutes per game. Look for Booker to return to action Friday against the Celtics.
