Rockets' Eric Gordon: Will join starting five Sunday

Gordon will start at shooting guard in Sunday's game against the Thunder, Rockets television play-by-play broadcaster Craig Ackerman reports.

Ryan Anderson (ankle) is set to miss at least the next two games, so Gordon will get the first crack at replacing him in the starting five as coach Mike D'Antoni rolls out a smaller lineup featuring Trevor Ariza at power forward. In his nine previous starts this season, Gordon has actually seen a small dip in production with averages of 15.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 33.1 minutes per game.
