Muhammad led the Timberwolves with 24 points (8-18 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT) to go with 11 rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes in a 121-107 loss to the Warriors on Tuesday.

With the Warriors defense limiting the potency of Timberwolves stars Andrew Wiggins (24 points) and Karl-Anthony Towns (21 points) to a degree, coach Tom Thibodeau leaned a little more on his bench Tuesday, and Muhammad stepped up to deliver. He established new season highs in both scoring and rebounding en route to his first double-double of the campaign, but it will be tough to rely on Muhammad to replicate this performance over the Wolves' final five games. As a byproduct of his typically shoddy defense, Muhammad had been limited to 20 minutes or fewer in all six of the Wolves' preceding contests.
