Geno Smith is expected to be the No. 2 quarterback for the Jets this season if he beats out rookie Christian Hackenberg for the job. Smith was the backup in 2015 after he lost the job to Ryan Fitzpatrick. He appeared in one game in Week 8 against the Raiders and was solid with 27 of 42 passing for 265 yards, two touchdowns and one interception and 34 rushing yards. We don't expect him to start barring an injury or unless Fitzpatrick doesn't return to New York, but the Jets do have a solid receiving corps led by Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, which would help his outlook. He should not be drafted in any formats, but if he does get the chance to start then you can add him off waivers.
