Isaiah Crowell seems to be trending in the right direction. He finished last season as a top 15 Fantasy running back regardless of format (he caught 40 passes!) and locked up 10-plus Fantasy points in half of his games. He also impressively averaged 4.8 yards per carry and nearly 80 total yards per matchup. Beginning this year, Crowell will work behind one of the better offensive lines in football, led by tackle Joe Thomas and an interior trio of newcomers Kevin Zeitler and J.C. Tretter and returning guard Joel Bitonio. It's going to make for a solid work environment for Crowell, who averaged a mere 12.4 carries per game and should be in line for more given the improvements the Browns made on both sides of the ball. The more competitive the Browns get, the more opportunities Crowell will have. While an old-school Fantasy owner won't take Crowell just because of where he plays, a forward-thinking owner will value Crowell based on his improving skills, O-line and creative playcaller in Hue Jackson. He's not a bad pick once you get to late Round 3 or Round 4.
