Boldin caught five of eight targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 19-16 overtime win against the Rams.

Boldin showed decent chemistry with QB Blaine Gabbert, as the pair hooked up at least five times in all but one of the seven games in which they both played. Even Boldin's 33-yard touchdown came on a play in which he really wasn't open, but Gabbert put it on his back shoulder. Still, the veteran wideout doesn't seem to have a whole lot left in the tank at age 35, averaging 11.4 YPC, which was one of the worst marks of his career. He also finished with the second fewest receiving yards (789) of his career. With that said, it's not like the 49ers have an elite passing attack and speed has never been part of his game anyway, so his mediocre 2015 season doesn't necessarily mean it's the end of the line just yet. He'll be a free agent in the offseason, so it will be interesting to see what kind of market there is for the tough possession receiver.
