Smelter (hamstring) is inactive for Friday's matchup with the Packers.
Smelter was held out of the previous preseason contest as well. It's unsurprising that he's not playing, as the hamstring injury does appear to be relatively serious. Smelter currently projects to be the fifth receiver on the team's depth chart, so he's in a competition to make the final roster.
