Celek has signed a four-year extension with the 49ers, CSN Bay Area reports.

Celek, who appeared in 11 games for the 49ers in 2015, while making eight starts, recorded 19 catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns in that span. In the aftermath of last season's trade of Vernon Davis, Celek should continue to see added opportunities in the San Francisco offense this coming season, though as a block-first type player, his fantasy upside is limited, with the likes of fellow TEs Vance McDonald, Blake Bell and Rory Anderson also on hand.
