49ers' NaVorro Bowman: Lands on injured reserve

The 49ers placed Bowman (Achilles) on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The tackle machine had already notched 35 stops upon suffering a torn left Achilles last Sunday against the Cowboys. As a corresponding move, the 49ers have activated the previously suspended Aaron Lynch, an outside linebacker. Filling the void on the inside for Bowman will be Nick Bellore.
