Bengals' Brandon Thompson: Not activated off PUP

Thompson (knee) was not activated off the PUP list on Wednesday, Jim Owczarski of Cincinnati.com reports.

Thompson, who tore his ACL during the 2015 regular season finale, had returned to practice in late November with hopes of eventually being activated, but as the deadline passed Wednesday it didn't happen. Pat Sims and DeShawn Williams will continue to provide depth behind Geno Atkins and Domata Peko at defensive tackle.
