Telfer (ankle) will miss at least a month after suffering a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's loss to the Redskins, Ohio.com reports.
Telfer hasn't seen much action through the first four weeks, playing just 66 snaps behind Gary Barnidge. Telfer's injury might open the door for rookie Seth DeValve (knee), although he's currently sidelined as well. The Browns may also look to sign Connor Hamlett from their practice squad rather than bring in someone new to fill their tight end void.
