Griffin agreed to a two-year, $15 million contract with the Browns on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports reports.

$6.75 million of the contract is guaranteed and another $7 million is available through incentives. The significant commitment should ensure that Griffin gets to compete for the starting job, even if his new team ends up selecting a quarterback in the first round of the NFL Draft. Although the Browns now seem far less likely to do so, various reports have suggested that it's still on the table. The 26-year-old Griffin still has first-rate physical tools, but he hasn't played well since his rookie season and didn't take a single snap in 2015.
