Buccaneers tight end Brandon Myers participated in 42 snaps against the Jaguars in Week 5, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The fact that the veteran tight end outpaced stud receiver Mike Evans by even a single snap reveals that the Bucs placed major emphasis on a more conservative game plan and the run game against the Jaguars. Myers will surrender a major portion of his playing time if Austin Seferian-Jenkins (shoulder) is able to return after the Bucs' Week 6 bye, but the possibility of that occurring is unlikely to be determined until well into the practice week leading into Week 7.
