Fitzgerald (knee) won't practice Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. "It's more me than him," head coach Bruce Arians said.
Stuck to the sideline during Friday's preseason game due to a slight MCL sprain, Fitzgerald alleviated fears about the injury with a return to practice Sunday. Just a day later, though, he'll sit out again. Arians relayed that Fitzgerald "overworked" the knee Sunday, so a spell of rest may be in order for the veteran wide receiver. Because the issue may be one of pain tolerance moving forward, the Cardinals will likely follow a cautious approach with Fitzgerald for the foreseeable future.
