Cardinals won't sign veteran to push Jerraud Powers and Justin Bethel

Cardinals defensive backs Jerraud Powers and Justin Bethel will battle for the right cornerback spot in OTAs and preseason training camp. 

Coach Bruce Arians would like to add another corner to the depth chart, after Antonio Cromartie left via free agency, but Powers and Bethel don't need to worry about veteran competition, per ESPN.

"Not at all," Arians said of the possibility of a veteran signing. "I'd really like to add a young one -- a young, long, fast one because I think we have enough depth with the guys we have."
