Herndon (undisclosed) did not practice Monday, Tom Krasovic of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Unable to practice since July 31, Herndon has seemingly lost ground in the competition for the No. 3 WR role as both Tyrell Williams and Dontrelle Inman have stood out during training camp. While time still remains for Herndon - who caught 24 passes in his rookie season - to impress the coaching staff, he must find his way onto the field soon.
