Williams (leg) was released by the Chiefs on Wednesday, Terez A. Paylor of The Kansas City Star reports.
Williams was signed by Kansas City back in April and was always considered a long shot to make the team. He hasn't played in a regular season game since 2014 and will be hard pressed to make another roster for the start of the regular season.
