The Colts and Turbin agreed to a contract Tuesday.

In his first three seasons with the Seahawks, Turbin established himself as a decent handcuff for Marshawn Lynch, accumulating at least 250 yards rushing each year. Turbin was also adept as a pass-catcher with 43 receptions (on 55 targets) for 427 yards and two touchdowns during that span. However, he suffered a high-ankle sprain at the end of the preseason and was promptly waived a few days later before he was plucked by the Browns. Making 10 appearances with Cleveland and Dallas thereafter, he managed nearly 4.0 yards per carry and 2.3 yards per target on 5.7 touches per game, meaning the best-case scenario in Indianapolis is likely a change-of-pace role behind Frank Gore.
