Witten caught two passes off of four targets for 16 yards in Sunday's loss to Seattle.

The game marked a season low in targets, catches and yards for Witten, who was coming off of a six-catch performance in Matt Cassel's Week 7 debut. Witten has been tasked for much of the season with being the Cowboys' primary threat and is on pace for his hightest reception total since 2012. Unfortunately, as Sunday showed, he is at the mercy of the Cowboys' backup quarterbacks until Tony Romo returns. Witten hasn't found the end zone since his two-touchdown game in Week 1 and, while he is worth keeping around until Romo's return, it is hard to expect much of him with the Cowboys' uneven quarterback play.
