Claiborne has been shifted over to the left cornerback slot during OTAs and has looked healthier than he has since his rookie season, Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports. "Just being able to go out and stay sticky on the receivers because I had time to actually work on it [is the biggest change]," Claiborne said Thursday. "I haven't had any nagging injury, and I actually had time to actually work at the line of scrimmage and work on getting stronger. And that helps a lot."

Putting him on the left side has allowed the Cowboys to move Brandon Carr back to the right, the role he filled during his days with the Chiefs. If Claiborne holds up, it would also allow Orlando Scandrick (knee) to stay in the slot once he's back on the field. Claiborne will need to prove he can stay on the field before we can truly anticipate a rebound, but so far, so good.
