The Cowboys have placed defensive tackle Henry Melton on injured reserve and signed linebacker James Henderson to the active roster, the team announced Tuesday.
Melton suffered a knee injury in Week 17's game against the Redskins and was unable to return. Coach Jason Garrett was not optimistic about Melton heading into the playoffs as well.
Melton's season ends with 15 total tackles including five sacks for Dallas.
The Cowboys are currently 7-point favorites against the Lions Sunday.
