D.J. Hayden: Signs with practice squad

Hayden signed with Washington's practice squad Saturday, Ben Standig of The Athletic reports.

Hayden spent the last three seasons with Jacksonville, having appeared in 30 games. Washington is suffering numerous issues in its secondary, most notably to starting corner Kendall Fuller (illness), who is on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Hayden could be added to the active roster in time for Washington's game against the Eagles on Tuesday, depending on who will and won't be available.
