Shelby finished the 2015 season with 37 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and an interception.
Those are pretty solid numbers for a part-time defensive end. The Dolphins have preferred to go the rotation route with their defensive line over the past couple of seasons. It remains to be seen whether or not that will change with new head coach Adam Gase.
