Dolphins' Xavien Howard: Will play Thursday

Howard (knee) will play in the Dolphins' preseason finale Thursday versus the Titans, Jason Lieser of The Palm Beach Post reports.

After missing the entirety of training camp while recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery, Howard will finally make his NFL debut. Though just the preseason, Thursday's tilt could prove to be valuable preparation for the rookie as he remains on track to play Week 1 and may be handed all the snaps he can handle given the current state of the Dolphins' talent-barren cornerback depth chart.
