Jones (toe) was spotted at Friday's practice but did not have his helmet with him, Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com reports.
It won't be clear until after Friday's session if Jones was able to get any work in, but the absence of a helmet typically suggests that a player will not participate in practice; and if that is true in this case, that means Jones will not have practiced all week. It was reported Thursday that the Falcons are optimistic about Jones' Week 14 availablity, but the team figures to release a fresh update on his status at some point following the conclusion of Friday's practice.
