Giants linebacker Devon Kennard (hamstring) has been ruled out for the game Sunday against the 49ers.
Kennard is off to an impressive start, with 25 tackles (15 solo) and an interception in four games. The Giants still don't have an every-down linebacker, but Kennard leads the group in snaps. In his absence, Mark Herzlich could get the start, though a bunch of players may benefit from added snaps.
