Giants' Orleans Darkwa: Suffers minor back injury

Darkwa said he suffered a minor back injury during Sunday's loss to the Saints, Ebenezer Samuel of the NY Daily News reports.

Darkwa was hurt on an unsuccessful goal-line carry during the second quarter. Prior to the injury, he split work with all of Rashad Jennings, Shane Vereen and Andre Williams, the last of whom also got some carries at the goal line. Darkwa may still push for a larger share of the touches if his injury isn't serious, but with the Giants likely to keep deploying a committee, there isn't much upside to be had.
