The Giants drafted Miami tackle Ereck Flowers in the first round, leading to speculation that he would take over from Justin Pugh at right tackle, with Pugh moving inside to guard.

On Saturday, offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo denied that Pugh would be moving. "As of right now, Justin Pugh is the starting right tackle on the New York Giants," McAdoo said, per the Daily News.

The plan for Flowers, the ninth overall pick, is a move to the other side. "We believe that he has the skill set to play left tackle," McAdoo said.
