Vereen had four carries for four yards and caught two of his four targets for 12 yards against the Patriots Sunday.
The matchup would have seemed to favor Vereen who operates mostly on passing downs, but his production was modest. Usually it's best to avoid the Giants running game, given the four-headed monster it employs.
