Jets' B.J. Goodson: Announces retirement

Goodson announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Goodson only suited up for one game with the Jets this season, when he played seven snaps on special teams against the Patriots in Week 2. The veteran linebacker logged time with the Giants, Packers and Browns in his NFL career before having linked with the Jets this season.
