Stanford (ankle) cleared waivers and reverted to the Jets' injured reserve, Dennis Waszak Jr. of AP Sports reports.
Stanford was waived/injured by the Jets on Dec. 7 and reverts to IR because no other team in the league placed a claim on him. He'll look to return to full strength in time for OTAs.
