Jets' Lawrence Thomas: Promoted to active roster

Thomas was promoted to the Jets' active roster Saturday, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports.

Lawrence landed on the team's practice squad after failing to make it through final cuts. However, the team appears to be looking to add depth on the defensive line, so Thomas will get an opportunity to fill the role.
